Author’s notes
A classic vegetarian entree which uses few ingredients, no heat and is quick to put together.
ingredients (Serves 4)
1 medium cauliflower
3 tomatoes chopped
1 tablespoon ginger diced
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon turmeric
Salt to taste
1 tablespoon oil
Cilantro to garnish
DIRECTIONS
- Heat oil in a pan. 
- Add cumin seeds. 
- Once browned, add ginger and saute. 
- Add te cauliflower, turmeric and salt. 
- Saute and cover till it gets soft. 
- Add chopped tomatoes and mix. 
- Cover and cook till tomatoes soften. 
- Garnish with cilantro 
- Seve hot with naan, roti or rice.
